Political Party Headquarters

With community, engagement, volunteers, and the common good at the forefront of the Pennsylvania Democratic Headquarters’ mission, an exciting and comfortable space is vital. In order to keep volunteers engaged, designing a space that would welcome them back time and time again was crucial. It was important to provide ease of communication and consistency in working toward a common goal. Paying homage to trailblazers of the Democratic Party, the idea of progressive determination was used throughout the entirety of the design. An exciting combination of progress and tradition was created, using unexpected colors and patterns to illustrate progressive ideals, juxtaposed among deeper blue and black colors and custom murals depicting leaders of the party. Complete with a café, a bold mural, comfortable furniture, and an interactive check-in and information board, the Lobby is meant to provide an exciting welcome experience for first time visitors, long-time volunteers, and permanent employees.

The best of crisis managers need an innovative, collaborative space to solve a problem, which is the basis of the design of the War Room. With common work tables, televisions, and great views, its the perfect place to work together.

The open work spaces throughout the office provide efficient workstations fit for the fast-paced team members that make up the Field and Digital Teams. Collaboration and connection to leadership were also critical aspects of the design.
